The UHBW Simulation Services team have worked closely with the University of Bristol School of Anatomy for a number of years. The School of Anatomy manage the Vesalius Clinical Training Centre (VCTC); a world-class cadaveric facility delivering practically-based understanding of anatomy for clinical practice.
In partnership, UHBW and VCTC are experienced in hosting hybrid simulation sessions, using the expert knowledge of both teams to build a deeper fidelity into simulation sessions, particularly surgical or trauma scenarios. Using UHBW's high fidelity manikins for patient observations and clinical assessment, and VCTC's cadaveric material for practical surgical training and practice, the simulation experience offered to learners is unique, immersive and highly effective.
Please note, due to restrictions at UHBW Simulation Centre, hybrid simulation can only be offered at the Vesalius Clinical Training Centre. UHBW Simulation Services are experienced in providing a mobile simulation suite onsite at the School of Anatomy.
