Outreach Simulation

February 2019

Youth Involvement Group – this group meets monthly and is an opportunity for young people aged 11-21 years old to have their say in what is happening in the hospital. In the last month the group took part in a session at the Medical Simulation Centre. This was an opportunity to have a go at clinical skills alongside support Laura Harrison, the Community Simulation Outreach Co-ordinator in looking at young people’s wider engagement. They also attended ‘Quality Counts’ to share their thoughts and ideas on what barriers there are to accessing healthcare and what we need to do to ensure we respect and provide good care to everyone.
