Course description:
The death of a child is one of the most difficult situations in healthcare and one for which most feel under-prepared.
Our innovative one-day simulation course will create a safe environment where all those who care for children can learn about and practice managing the challenges which arise when a child dies. Our supportive, experienced, specialist faculty will use simulation, lectures and workshops at one of the UK's leading simulation centres.
Highlights/Objectives:
This course will cover the emotional, practical and legal considerations when a child dies, enabling candidates to better care for families, colleagues
and themselves.
Target Audience:
This course is suitable for all members of the multi-disciplinary team, whatever their level of experience, with no prior knowledge required.
