Our Covid-19 Safety Measures
UHBW Simulation Centre is operating in alignment with UK Government guidance and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston guidance around Covid-19. We have Covid-19 safety measures in place throughout our Centre (including social distancing, the wearing of PPE and regular cleaning) and training will be delivered within these parameters.
Our risk assessment can be found below and will be sent to all course directors prior to training. If you would like to attend a course at UHBW but are concerned about your safety, we would encourage you to get in touch with our team. If you are looking to run a course at the simulation centre, please get in touch with the team so we can discuss what we are doing and what we will require of you in order to keep everyone safe.
Please note that by attending training at UHBW Simulation Centre, attendees are declaring that they are not showing any Covid-19 symptoms (a new, continuous cough, high temperature or a loss of taste or smell). If attendees develop symptoms during training, they must inform a course director and return home immediately for self-isolation and testing.
Please note, our Cancellation Policy still applies to all bookings. We understand that travel and accommodation options are uncertain at this time and it remains hard for anyone to plan ahead. We would encourage course attendees to only book travel and accommodation once they feel confident that this will be permitted by UK law and within the Covid-19 guidance. Please read our Cancellation Policy for details on what will happen if a course must be cancelled or if you are unable to attend the training due to Covid-19.
