Transport Of The Critically ill Course - for nurses

This one-day course will give nurses working in emergency, critical care, theatre and recovery the confidence and knowledge to prepare and transfer patients in a variety of situations.  The course uses a variety of teaching strategies from lectures to scenario based simulations.  Topics include assessing and stabilizing a critically ill patient prior to transfer, what equipment to take and how to use it, communication and teamwork.
