THANKSC (The Hospital At Night Knowledge, Skills & Communication Course)

This two day course uses simulation scenarios, tutorials and workshops. The course is designed for 8 Ward Nurses, 4 Operational Support Nurses and on Day 2, 4 Doctors.

Cost = £200 for Nursing staff (2-day course)
Cost = £125 for Medical staff (Day 2 only)

By the end of the course the participants will;-
1. Be able to assess and recognise the sick or deteriorating patient
2. Communicate effectively between peers and team members
3. Understand the need and criteria to call for appropriate help early
4. Be practiced at the immediate management of the sick patient
5. Be knowledgeable and practiced at the components of good teamwork.
